PTFI bergerak pada penambangan bijih yang mengandung logam emas, perak dan tembaga. 1. Manyar Smelter Project - Process Control Engineer

  • Process Control Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining control logics, HMI (Human Machine Interface), and advanced process control programs to ensure the smelting and refining processes are operating safely, optimally, and continuously improving. The scope of the automation systems within this role is the regulatory, supervisory, advanced process control (APC), industrial applications, and the PI data management system. Automation is an integral part of the operations of the smelter and refinery as it is controlling various processes to ensure safe operations and optimization of operations. Leading up to commissioning and ramp-up of the plant, this position is a part of the Operational Readiness team to manage the readiness of the automation teams resources, systems, and talents.

Role Spesific Competencies

The professional and technical competencies which specifically apply to this role include but are not limited to:

  • Capable of identifying instrumentation by type and communication protocol. Optimizes/maintains advanced instrumentation.
  • Capable of providing drawings and specification for control system design/modification; additionally capable of reviewing electrical and instrumentation proposals for projects.
  • Able to interpret and modify controls logic to correct issues and new projects. Creates/modifies code for use within a library. Proposes and implements new control strategies and tuning
  • Responsible for execution of actions related to automation system integrity, life cycle, and upkeep.
  • Understand loop tuning processes and capable of performing basic Root Cause Analysis to repair or improve poor performance. Familiar with alternative/advanced methods for resolving troublesome loops.
  • Experienced in sustainable site-specific documentation for control system such as design specification, HMI specifications, drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience with Siemens PCS7 v7 or above with the APL library. Demonstrated experience with FBD, ST and SFC logic, and WinCC Advanced. Preferably experience using SIMIT. Experience with Siemens TIA-Portal v15 or above.
  • Experience in the use of Ethernet for control (e.g., Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP) including analysis of network traffic and configuration.
  • Adept at scenario planning and Risk Mitigation to ensure all change introduced in the control automation system is done without putting processes and personnel at risk.
  • Adept at complex project portfolio management. The automation team will be involved in multiple improvement projects at one time, each with different timelines and simultaneous work going on at the same time. Adept in Scope of Work development and managing project timelines, budgets, and quality.
  • Complex data management and analysis. Storytelling with data. Objective communication to stakeholders based on sound analysis of technical data. Advanced in technical writing.
  • Influencing without control able to collaborate, accommodate needs of, and influence operations team, metallurgists, process engineers, maintenance team, MIS, and others to improve automation control logics to increase safe production and/or improve process performance.

Requirements

  • (Required) Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related field relevant to Process Automation such as Metallurgy, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics Engineering.
  • Engineer, preferably in a hot-metals and hydrometallurgical/chemical processing facilities, with demonstrated experience in Siemens PCS7 or other PLC/DCS platforms.
  • Adept at project management.
  • Experienced in design and implementation of safety systems that may include Fatal Risk/Critical Risk Management principles (>2 years preferable).
  • Experience in operational readiness efforts leading up to commissioning and start up.
  • Experience in big data management is desired though not mandatory.
  • Experience in application of Agile principles.

2. Manyar Smelter Project - Shift Superintendent

  • The Shift Superintendent positions is responsible in leading and coordinating a crew consisting of shift operators, mechanics, electricians, instrumentation technicians, and metallurgist towards achieving safe production targets in the area of the Manyar Smelter, which includes Concentrate Receival, Concentrate Blending & Drying, Smelting, Converting, Anode Furnace & Casting, Gas Cleaning, Acid Plant, Electrorefinery, Slag Concentrator, and the PMR. 
  • The Shift Superintendent has the highest authority during off-shifts to ensure safe execution of tasks, coordinating the various unit processes to achieve production targets, and appropriate response to unforeseen breakdowns. Leading up to commissioning and ramp-up of the Manyar Smelter, this position is a part of the Operational Readiness team, will lead and execute the preparation of items, procedures, knowledge, human resources, and other resources required.

Role Specific Competencies

The professional and technical competencies which specifically apply to this role include but are not limited to:

  • Safety Leadership extensive experience in managing safe operations through creating and nurturing a disciplined safety culture in a high-risk processing environment.
  • Critical Risk Management experience in execution of critical risk management practices in the field, including proactive risk assessments, STOP WORK practices, conducting critical control verifications, and critical control improvements.
  • Operational Leadership extensive experience managing multiple operational crews covering complex metal processing circuits to achieve production targets safely and to environmental regulations. Employ proactive identification of potential process disruptions, disciplined response to potential issues, and safe response to disruptions in timely manner.
  • Communications Skills Communicate effectively to various stakeholders such as other process areas, other discipline/department, and to upper management. Coordinate employees from various department in responding to solve complex issues during the shift.
  • People Development Possess the passion in and experienced in developing team members to ensure business needs are fulfilled and employees growth.
  • Technical Skills Experience with (or able to quickly learn) process fundamentals and interactions of different unit operations in a metal processing plants, particularly hot-metals operation (pyrometallurgy).

Requirements

  • High-school diploma with at least 7 years of experience in operational leadership within a meta processing plant, or
  • Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of operational leadership experience within a metal
  • processing plant.
  • Appropriate years of experience as detailed in desired qualifications.
  • Conversational English ability preferable.
  • Minimum POP certification as mandated by regulation. POM certification preferable.

3. Manyar Smelter Project - Recruitment Superintendent

  • Recruitment Superintendent is responsible to develop manpower plan, manage recruitment plan and ensure evaluated roles and find the best qualified candidates to support operation readiness.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  • Evaluate every job description/ profile in all area.
  • Develop on boarding plan based on operation need.
  • Manage recruitment process trough SOP using effective tools approved.
  • Develop dashboard recruitment progress and provide regular report to all head department and Management, including trend analysis.
  • Maintain major Key Performance of recruitment focus on qualified candidates, lead time to fill and cost per hire.

4. Manyar Smelter Project - Process Automation Superintendent

  • The Process Automation Superintendent is responsible to lead the automation team within the organization in providing development, reliable performance, modifications, and improvement of control systems to ensure the smelting and refining processes are operating safely, optimally, and continuously improving. The scope of the automation systems within this role is the regulatory, supervisory, advanced process control (APC), industrial applications, and the PI data management system. Automation is an integral part of the operations of the smelter and refinery as it is controlling various processes to ensure safe operations and optimization of operations. Leading up to commissioning and ramp-up of the Manyar Smelter and PMR, this position is a part of the Operational Readiness team to manage the readiness of the automation teams resources, systems, and talents.

Role Spesific Competencies

The professional and technical competencies which specifically apply to this role include but are not limited to:

  • An expert in developing automation strategies and cookbooks, collaborating with various process subject matter experts to ensure automation strategies and logics are appropriate.
  • Effective leadership and management of process control engineers of various experience and area of expertise, working in both project and dynamic operating environment.
  • Some knowledge and experience working in copper smelting, hydrometallurgy, acid plant, desalination, effluent treatment, and precious metal refinery plant.
  • Working knowledge and expertise in PLC, DCS and APC platforms, preferably Siemens S7, PCS7, and general Advanced Process Control (APC).
  • Intimate knowledge of various field instrumentations and its function to the process and automation systems.

5. Manyar Smelter Project - Learning and Development Superintendent

  • Learning and Development Superintendent responsible to train/develop employees to acquire optimal capability in their roles and Develop strong productive and positive organizational culture to support long term strategy of the business.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  • Defining and developing detailed manpower and competency/skill matrix to be used to ensure effective people acquisition and development for project and operational readiness.
  • Provide detailed Employee Development/Training Needs Analysis and Training strategy and plan, as well as syllabi and course descriptions for training programs required for commissioning and operations Support the development of an inclusive, diverse, and highly effective team culture.
  • Deliver critical training and development activities to support commissioning and early operations.
  • Develop talent management systems (Performance Management, Succession Management).
  • Develop Training Plan for Decommissioning, Commissioning, Operations.
  • Develop Syllabi and Modules.
  • Deliver training to ensure readiness at all phases.

Role Spesific Competencies

  • Expert on Training Need Analysis, Skill matrix, competencies matrix, performance appraisal, and performance management.
  • Expert to develop annual training plan and implementation.
  • Skilled in supervising, evaluating, training and motivating employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, or related field Seven (7) years of experience in learning and development area, and 3 years ini similar level from other relevant industries.
  • Prior major project management and/or start-up experience (experience in high volume training greatly preferred).
